PollHall

Accessibility

Last updated: 6 November 2026

We want everyone to be able to use PollHall, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

What we do

  • English, Hindi and Marathi on every page.
  • Buttons, icons and charts have labels for screen readers.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text has strong contrast and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
  • Results are shown as numbers and words, not by colour alone.
  • No time limits on voting or writing a comment.
  • Pages are light and work on low-cost phones and slow connections.

Known limits

  • Trend charts are visual and can be hard to follow with a screen reader. The exact numbers are always shown next to them.
  • The bot check from Cloudflare may sometimes ask for an extra step.
